Runner's World contributor and former RW Marathon Virgin Ted Spiker has always been a big guy, but that hasn't stopped him from trying to pull his truck of a body into traffic with all the sports-car speedsters of the running world. For "The Big Guy Blog," he'll write about what it's like being a size-XL runner in a size-M world. He'll write about running, about weight loss, about cool workouts that will help his running, about his weakness for [insert just about any food]. Spiker, a journalism professor at the University of Florida who specializes in health and fitness writing, is also a contributing editor to Men's Health magazine (and once ate 76 ounces of steak for an assignment there).
